Hey everyone, I’m Ayxan Solongo aka Arden Skye aka TimeFliesAway, a shapeshifter traveling through the multiverse.

Based on the title, I’ve expected either melancholy or poetry. It’s neither. Some of the messages of some stories are kinda poetic, but it’s not tradition poetry of sorts. Rather humorous than melancholic, too. Not that that’s a bad thing per se.

The humanization of the beings in nature featured here made me somewhat uncomfortable. On one hand, it’s been done many times before in cartoon media, so nothing unexpected. On the other hand, it’s because it’s done many times before, it makes this unoriginal. It has a bit of queer rep, but the humanoid creatures were all very binary designed – and of course, didn’t forget the eyelashes for the females only.

First two stories made me want to throw hands with the creator(s); I legit wrote a paragraph already on how annoying that cishet lens is. The last two balanced it out, made me delete that paragraph.

But still – flora beings in nature might have binary sexes (too), but would be considered queer by human standards. Not just sexually queer but also gender-wise. Portraying them very much in the classic cartoon binary is just so outdated and unpleasant to read.

Apart from that, the illustrations are and the style is cute.
