Welcome to Pending Plays! We’re an ever growing collective of people using our platform to talk about all things entertainment. Whether that’s a review on a game we’ve just played, a film we hated, or a book we just couldn’t put down.
On Pending Plays, we aim to provide reviews from people who do this outside of their day job. Giving you a true reflection of a public opinion on a title, and not from people who do this as a paid job.
We are as transparent as possible when reviewing, with the criteria and scores being put in each review so you can see how we’ve scored it! You may see the term “Artistic Achievement” used when it comes to our review criteria. This covers for multiple areas, such as the Graphics, Music, World Building, Complexity and so forth. This allows us to keep our criteria simple, yet display the excellence that has made this item, a work of art.

Gaming Criteria
We want to be as transparent as possible when it comes to grading games in our reviews! We noticed a number of media outlets don’t give a simple, visible breakdown of how the decision has been reached. Here’s a view of how we grade our reviews for games, and you’ll be able to see this on all our reviews:
