During this past October, I set out on Pending Plays Instagram page (you can visit it, by clicking the icon at the top of this page!) to determine who our communities favourite horror movie killer was. We now have our WINNER! We started with 28 famous horror movie killers who had featured in at least 3 movies. To allow a multitude of entries, we allows reboots and remakes to be included, and our final list looked like this:

Using good old Excel, I randomly assigned pairs to face of in head-to-head vote offs. Each getting a slide in the Instagram Story for our followers to vote on. You can find some of these battles in the gallery at the bottom of this article. Through 4 rounds we got to our Final 2, setting up the battle to determine the ultimate killer. Would it be Ghostface from the Scream franchise, or Pinhead from Hellraiser?
Before I tell you the winner however, I want to say how much fun this was, and therefore we’re looking to put more of these on in the future! We’re welcoming everyone’s involvement in these in submitting your favourite entry for each subject! Take a visit to https://pendingplays.co.uk/tournament-drops/ to fill in the form. You’ll choose a Tournament subject (such as Best Animated TV Mom) and enter your entry suggestion (Francine from American Dad anyone?). You’ll also be able to submit an idea for a future subject here. Submit your entry and once there’s enough entrants, the Tournament shall begin!
