I love zombie killing and the more brutal the gameplay is, the better. So when Dead Island first came along, despite all its faults, I was hooked. Guns out, melee weapons that can be set on fire in? Yepp that’s me. Did the original experience deliver everything I was hoping for? No. Did it get majorly one-upped by Dying Light? Yes. Was I initially excited when this was announced? Still yes.
So why did it take me so long to pick this up?

All in all, this is a solid Sonic entry and if this is the future of 2D Sonic Games (if they’re not going to continue Sonic Mania urgh) then I will be content in its future and look forward for what is to come.
Something in this latest entry hit me like a brick to the face, and it wasn’t anything gameplay related. Whilst I haven’t completed the story yet (I’m taking my time) and have put some time in to the Invasions mode, this is standing out like a sore thumb…
