A very Puggy Christmas – Book Review

Share this:

Hey everyone, I’m Ayxan Solongo aka Arden Skye aka TimeFliesAway, a shapeshifter traveling through the multiverse.

Well, that sucks.

I’ve loved the first book (‘A Pug who didn’t belong‘) of this series (can be read on its own), but this was rather … eh.

Dogs do not and should not eat cookies! Chocolate can be VERY dangerous for dogs, standard flour isn’t well digestive and the amount of sugar cookies have should be very self-explainable that it’s made for humans alone.
And neither do or should they drink milk!! To be fair, it wasn’t specified what type of milk, though since none of the creators are vegan, it’s quite safe to say it’s meant to depict cow’s milk, and that too isn’t good for anyone but cow babies! It’s bad enough to see cats offered milk, but dogs now too?? Give me a break!

And don’t come at me with “it’s just fiction”. The Bible too is just fiction and look where it got humanity.

Also, why was the pee blue?

Apart from these issues, I did like it overall. Quite generic and unoriginal, but the poems were fun to read. And the illustrations were just as nice as in the prequel.

With all that, I unfortunately can’t recommend it.
Please do your research first, or at least give a disclaimer at the end that this plays in another world where cookies are safe for dogs and the milk is dog’s/magical milk …
