It’s a sweet and unique artstyle, which goes well with the writing. Some minimalistic pages that fit the message top-notch.
I just really dislike the very binary heteronormative traditional aspects (pink for girls, blue for boys, mom wearing an apron, dad being outside, etc).

Typical children’s book poems, nothing unique about the style.
But the message is an important one, especially in today’s maximum-core lifestyle.
