Hey everyone, I’m Ayxan Solongo aka Arden Skye aka TimeFliesAway, a shapeshifter traveling through the multiverse.
A warm, whimsical, cozy, short read.
I could relate to Farah a lot, perhaps a little too much throughout the whole book. Almost every page has a notable quote in there – mostly about friendship and self-love.
The species confused me. I’m not very familiar with dnd-like species or worlds. I’m guessing the protagonist is a human-like species (halfling), so is her adoptive mother (I think?), but the ratkin … is it a rat anthro or a human(oid) who has a rat-like face? Appearances weren’t described well. Not sure whether the author assumes everyone is well-versed in DnD or whether I missed something. 😅
Other than that, I have nothing to complain about. The cover is very cute (albeit it made me think that the fox and cat are the shop owners), and I like the queer rep, written by a queer author. 😀
