Theme: under-appreciated classics
Read and review anything that’s a book – novels, comics, mangas, graphic novels, poem collections, scripts, short stories, zines, et cetera. (Audiobooks count too, of course!).
How to take part
- Write a review of a/multiple book/s that contain/s a celebration of some sort.
- Post the review here on Pending Plays. (New here? Check out this page: https://pendingplays.co.uk/register-to-review/)
- Add the tag BookGuildApril2026 to your post
Rules
- Read the book in April (it can be a volume from a series you’re currently reading, but shouldn’t be a re-read).
- Feel free to interpret the theme as you like.
- Timeframe to read and review: 1st to 30th April 2026
- (If you happen to be busy in April, don’t worry about posting your review after the timeframe! We’re not that strict here!)
