February, the month of love! There’s Valentine’s day in the west, Dragobete (mix of Valentine’s day and spring festival) in Romania, chocolate exchange in Japan, mass weddings in Philippines, friendship day in Estland & Finland & Mexico, anonymous gift giving between friends in Colombia & Guatemala, card exchange between friends and lovers in Denmark & Norway, embracing the flower language in Taiwan, risk taking in Thailand, and what else there is. And what better way to celebrate all that diversity in love than …

Theme: queer love

Read and review anything that’s a book – novels, comics, mangas, graphic novels, poem collections, scripts, short stories, zines, et cetera. (Audiobooks count too, of course!).

How to take part

Rules

  • Read the book in February (it can be a volume from a series you’re currently reading, but shouldn’t be a re-read)
  • can be any type of love, as long as it’s queer (meaning, it’s not tied to romantic/sexual relationships)
  • Timeframe to read and review: 1st to 28th February 2025
    • (If you happen to be busy in February, don’t worry about posting your review after the timeframe! We’re not that strict here!)

Make sure to join our Discord and get the Book Guild role, to not miss out on any announcements or other info!

Looking forward to your reviews!
