Mud, Bugs & Other Tales – Book Review

Share this:

Hey everyone, I’m Ayxan Solongo aka Arden Skye aka TimeFliesAway, a shapeshifter traveling through the multiverse.

Art

Very cute, 5/5 stars.

Writing

Not my favorite, but probably works for children learning to read (I learned languages differently, so I can’t confirm). It’s easy to read, that’s the most important, I guess. Lots of repetition for certain words!

(Yes, it’s in the title, but I didn’t know what exactly “decoding” was referring to. Have never seen the term being used in this context!)

Didn’t like

That one scene where an adult gives a cat a lot of different foods for one dish, all of which (except maybe the meat) cats SHOULD NOT eat. Like— chips, jam, fish, lux, ham, … wth??
