The Acrobat of Ashgabat – Book Review

Share this:

Art

Wonderful, clean, graphic-novel like. Cute and fitting art style. 5/5 stars.

Story

4/5. Generally good and entertaining, but not the animal cruelty part. Harming animals should not be something to applaud over or take pride in. One star less for that.

Message

Half/half. On one hand, it breaks the cliche of how this type of message is always portrayed.

On the other hand, the cliche break doesn’t work that well. The message itself is still clear, but not as smooth as it would be in the cliche way.

All in all

Still recommended. Also cause of the setting and culture portrayed.
