I’ll start this review by saying one thing, this is only the 2nd ever Silent Hill I have played. For someone who loves survival horror, that shocks me to, but I’ve always been a Resident Evil fan boy. I played the original Silent Hill not too long ago and was interested, but found it a bit of an odd game to really get in to, considering the more action heavy likes of Resident Evil. However when the remake was released, I NEEDED to play it and I’m so glad I did.
Wow! The animation and story is Ghibli-like. And rainbows made me cry! Bittersweet ending.

I love zombie killing and the more brutal the gameplay is, the better. So when Dead Island first came along, despite all its faults, I was hooked. Guns out, melee weapons that can be set on fire in? Yepp that’s me. Did the original experience deliver everything I was hoping for? No. Did it get majorly one-upped by Dying Light? Yes. Was I initially excited when this was announced? Still yes.
So why did it take me so long to pick this up?
Was amazing. Pure comedy with a really wholesome ending. And the traveling put me into a roadtrip-mood.
