It’s ArtFight’s anniversary and they had a special idea: 3 teams instead of 2. Artfight is a big annual art event for all online artists, and is taking most of our focus during July. So, as to not have to make space for other themes in my head:
Theme: comedy, mystery, tragedy
Read and review anything that’s a book – novels, comics, mangas, graphic novels, poem collections, scripts, short stories, zines, et cetera. (Audiobooks count too, of course!).
How to take part
- Write a review of a/multiple book/s that have each option apart of.
- Can be on the cover, or the genre overall, or a plot point in the story, etc. Open for interpretation!
- Yes, all 3 themes have to be somewhat in the book. But not all to the same extent (ie: a character making a joke counts as comedy, someone dying and everyone mourning them counts as tragedy, and anything that was not revealed or only at the end counts as mystery).

- Add the tag BookGuildJuly2026 to your post
Rules
- Read the book in July (it can be a volume from a series you’re currently reading, but shouldn’t be a re-read).
- The contents don’t matter – can be any genre, any theme, etc.
- Timeframe to read and review: 1st July to 8th August 2026 (deadline extended because I uploaded the info post so late)
- (If you happen to be busy, don’t worry about posting your review after the timeframe! We’re not that strict here.)
