Children of Silentown is a hand-drawn, point-n-click, adventure game about a girl who grows up next to a forest that people keep disappearing into. Our brave adventurer seeks out the truth about the monsters and what happens to the people they take.
However, amidst the remarkable growth and expansion, there is a noticeable impact on performance and visuals. While the game showcases moments of visual splendor when closely inspecting your city, frequent frame drops, crashes, and error messages detract from the overall experience.
It was much more the story that kept me reading than the art. I find the latter to be rather mediocre, beginner-like. Not the impression the cover gave.
